Rule 45
Evaluation of experience of working in geographical area
: (1) When awarding marks for experience of working in different geographical areas to armed police personnel, as mentioned in Schedule-10, the geographical area shall be "A", "B", "C" and "D" respectively. ” will be divided into four categories and the marks will be given as follows without increasing to eight marks for the experience of working annually:-
(a) At the rate of 1.5 marks for every year of service in category “A”. (b) at the rate of 1.4 marks for every year of service in category “B”. (c) At the rate of 1.3 marks for every year of service in category “C”. (d) At the rate of 1.2 marks for every year of service in category “D”. (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if he has worked in any one geographical area for a period of at least ninety days or more, he will be given proportionate number of points for working in that geographical area and if he has worked for a period of less than ninety days, in any geographical area Even if they have worked in the field, they will be given the marks specified for "D" category.
(3) In the case of armed police personnel who have been removed from the armed police service and reinstated or suspended and such suspension has been lifted, no points will be given for working in the geographical area during the period of absence.
(4) The armed police personnel assigned to the United Nations Federal Mission or the Nepalese diplomatic missions abroad will be given half of the marks specified for the "D" category and the armed police personnel going on study leave or training abroad for a period of three months or more.
(5) The marks obtained for working in the geographical area will be counted only if they are obtained in a lower position than the position in which they are to be promoted.
(6) When calculating the points of the geographical area obtained before the commencement of this regulation, the total points for the geographical area of ​​that period shall be considered as eight and the obtained points shall be maintained in the same ratio.
